Available Grant Programs for Oil Heating System Upgrades

Recently the New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning announced the availability of resources to assist homeowners with newer high-efficiency heating equipment.  The installation of new ENERGY STAR rated oil boilers and furnaces qualifies for up to $500 in rebates.  We are installing new systems in many of our customers homes this spring, and offering great savings as an additional incentive.

New Pellet Heating Grant Announcement

Rebate money up to $6,000 is now available to homeowners who want to install wood pellet central heating boilers.  This incentive will help to reduce the cost of installing this new equipment so that homeowners can reduce dependency on fossil fuels while maintaining convenient heating comfort. These very sophisticated systems make environmentally sensible heating possible for the owners of all sizes of homes in our region.

The AutoPellet brand entered the US market last summer with the intention of bringing fully automatic and convenient European pellet heating technology to North America. The well-proven systems (over 30,000 installations in Europe) are produced under license by US based Maine Eco Pellet Heating LLC and marketed by MESys under the AutoPellet name. Most of the production related work is presently being done in the US. The products are therefore contributing not only to a healthy environment, but also to a healthy local economy.

To support this effort we invested in bulk wood-pellet delivery equipment to make central heating with wood pellets not only viable but less expensive than heating with fossil fuels.  Wood pellets are delivered by the ton to a bulk bin, in just the same way that we deliver to heating oil tanks.
