A new and more inexpensive way for homes and businesses to heat in the face of recent record-high oil prices. In the spring of 2008 we met some new friends from Maine Energy Systems who were in the process of bringing to market a viable and affordable heating alternative. Together we are offering a fascinating solution - something that works as a central heating alternative that does the same job as oil. It just so happens that this new heating equipment also fits our mission of offering heating alternatives that are cleaner and more environmentally viable, such as our Bioheat alternative fuel blend that we introduced back in 2005. This brand-new heating alternative for the Mount Washington Valley – something we call The Pellet Project, is all about central heating with wood pellets. A few live-fire systems are up and running so we can now show interested parties to generate some buzz to get the project moving. In addition, our new bulk pellet delivery truck and plentiful pellet supply allow us to distribute bulk wood pellets. We are having a lot of fun with this - we can’t wait to start showing what this system can do.

So here’s the plan:
If you are interested, the best way to proceed is to contact us and we will:

• come visit your home and survey your current heating system;
• we’ll then work up an personalized estimate that includes the complete system including the automatic feed pellet burner, hot water boiler and storage bin system;
• if you decide to proceed, we’ll reserve a system for you and plan for the installation;
• you can also visit a system that is working right here in the Valley - Give us a call and we can set up a time to show you all of the exciting new features of this money-saving and environmentally forward heating solution.

After looking at all the good stuff there, you might be wondering how much does this system cost? Generally, most customers can expect to invest about half-again as much as the cost of a traditional heating system. With oil at current levels, most customers can expect a very reasonable payback period.
