Also, Bioheat® burns more cleanly in your heating system, increasing heat transfer and reducing maintenance costs over time.

The most common question we hear from customers is how effectively Bioheat® can be used in existing heating systems. Research conducted by the National Oil heat Research Alliance (NORA) as well as the Brookhaven National Laboratory indicate that heating systems perform quite well with the use of this new blended alternative. Most notably, the use of Bioheat® increases the overall net efficiency of the heating system because the fuel burns much cleaner than traditional fuel oil. With energy costs reaching all-time highs, the need for a progressive approach couldn’t be greater.

We’ve added Bioheat® to compliment our overall strategy of being the Mount Washington Valley’s authority on money-saving efficiency and environmental concern in the area of heating. Over the past several years we have earned the distinction of being a leader in the area of upgrading customer’s heating equipment with the newer, higher efficiency systems. We have also been at the forefront of the fuel storage tank issue replacing many of our customers underground and aboveground tanks with up to date fuel tank solutions.
