The most common question we
hear from customers is how effectively Bioheat® can be
used in existing heating systems. Research conducted by the
National Oil heat Research Alliance (NORA) as well as the Brookhaven
National Laboratory indicate that heating systems perform quite well
with the use of this new blended alternative. Most notably, the
use of Bioheat® increases the overall net efficiency of
the heating system because the fuel burns much cleaner than
traditional fuel oil. With energy costs reaching all-time
highs, the need for a progressive approach couldn’t be greater.
