The Pellet Project: Getting off the Oil Roller Coaster
It’s Here: a new and more inexpensive way for homes and businesses to heat in the face of record-high oil prices. Last spring we met some new friends from Maine Energy Systems who were in the process of bringing to market a viable and affordable heating alternative. They are offering a fascinating solution - something that works as a central heating alternative that does the job for a lot less than oil. It just so happens that this new heating equipment also fits our mission of offering heating alternatives that are cleaner and more environmentally viable, such as our Bioheat alternative fuel blend that we introduced back in 2005. We liked the new equipment so much that we spent the summer training and certifying our entire heating and installation and sales staff how to sell and install the new equipment. This brand-new heating alternative for the Mount Washington Valley – something we call The Pellet Project, is all about central heating with wood pellets. The first live-fire system in the Valley is installed so we can now show interested parties to generate some buzz to get the project moving. In addition, our new bulk pellet delivery truck and plentiful pellet supply allow us to distribute bulk wood pellets. We are having a lot of fun with this - we can’t wait to start showing what this system can do. S
F We are going to work hard to make The Pellet Project become a pellet reality, and with our customers’ help, we will be installing the latest cost-saving heating choices right here in the Mount Washington Valley.
